Spring Vale
In McLean, VA, the Spring Vale project focused on transforming the bedroom and breakfast room of a Craftsman-style home for a couple and their two children.
The clients, who had never had a space of their own, desired a bedroom that served as a serene sanctuary and a breakfast room that seamlessly blended with their home's existing eclectic decor, filled with treasures from their international travels.
Creating cohesion with the existing decor was a delightful challenge. In the breakfast room, a striking 3D wood wall by Jamie Beckwith added texture and depth, creating a unique focal point that harmonized with the home's eclectic charm. The bedroom became a tranquil retreat, featuring a beautiful wood veneer wallpaper by Philip Jeffries. This serene space offers the couple a peaceful escape from their demanding jobs and frequent travel.
By integrating elements that reflect the client's love for unique, worldly treasures, we ensured these new spaces felt like an integral part of their home. Spring Vale now beautifully blends functionality with personal retreat, providing the family with a harmonious and inviting living environment.
