In Vienna, VA, we revitalized a bedroom to keep pace with the evolving needs of a teenage girl, transforming it into a versatile, stylish space that supports studying, socializing, and personal expression.
In the heart of Vienna, VA, the Orchard Street project focused on revitalizing a compact bedroom for a tween who needed her space to be as versatile as her interests.
Completed in the summer of 2021, this bedroom redesign was all about creating a functional retreat where our client’s daughter could sleep, study, socialize, and showcase her passion for horseback riding.
To address the challenge of the room's size while meeting the multitude of functional needs, we designed custom built-ins that maximized every inch of available space. These installations provided ample storage, a dedicated study area, and display spots for her horse memorabilia and riding medals, effectively personalizing the space while keeping it organized and airy.
Ultimately, our goal was for this space to evoke feelings of comfort, relaxation, and joy.
We wanted her to step into her room and feel instantly at ease, embraced by a space that reflects her personality and passions. This room is not just a place for rest; it's a sanctuary where she can dream, grow, and continue to develop her talents.
